Yi-Ching (Angel) Liu
Ph.D. & Professor
Yi-Ching (Angel) Liu, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at National Taiwan University, College of Management. She earned her Ph.D. in Communication (with Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior as her minor) from Cornell University. Her research interests focus on motivation in teamwork, social influence in interpersonal and group interaction, team decision-making process, the role of individual differences in team process and team performance, and group dynamics. She teaches MBA and undergraduate courses in leading teams and organizations, organizational behavior as well as PhD seminar in experimental methods.

Hsu-Min Lee
Postdoctoral Research Assistant
Hsu-Min Lee is a postdoctoral fellow at National Taiwan University, where she earned her PhD in organizational behavior. Her research examines person-environment fit, leadership, and team cooperation in social dilemmas and diverse groups. She uses experiments and multi-wave field studies to understand motivation, performance, and employee outcomes at work.

Wei-Chieh Liao
Ph.D. Research Assistant
Ryan Weichieh Liao is a Ph.D. candidate in Business Administration, specializing in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. His research focuses on the everyday interactions of practitioners in real work settings. His master’s thesis examined task design among co-founders, and the work was presented at the Academy of Management 2025 Annual Meeting (Copenhagen, Denmark). Prior to his doctoral studies, he served as Executive Assistant to the CEO of a new venture and supported startups in organizational design and process optimization, gaining practical experience in new venture operations and management. He is currently affiliated with the Team Dynamics and Team Management Lab, where he contributes to research projects using qualitative research methods.

You-Jhen Gao
Undergraduate Research Assistant
You-Jhen Gao received her Bachelor’s degree in International Business from National Taiwan University. Prior to pursuing academic research, she worked as a Communications Manager at a multinational FMCG company. Her industry experience provided firsthand insights into organizational dynamics, leadership practices, and employees’ psychological experiences, inspiring her strong interest in Organizational Behavior. Her current research interests focus on meaningful work, motivation, employee well-being, and workplace inequality. She is particularly interested in how individuals construct the meaning of work across different organizational contexts. Through empirical research, she aims to contribute theoretical insights and managerial implications for building more human-centered and sustainable workplaces.
